Welcome Aboard - Virtual Engagement Activity for New Hires

Joining my first company in 2021 during Working from Home era, makes me realize how important it is to have the chance to introduce myself, as new hire, to everyone at work to avoid unnecessary awkwardness and to get more sense of belongingness in my new working place. 

As soon as I joined Culture & Engagement Department in my company, I initiate a program that allows new hires to introduce themselves, not only to their department members, but also to everyone both in HQ and branch offices. 

"Welcome Aboard" allows new hires to express their past professional experiences, education, hobbies, passion, interests, and anything they'd like to share with everyone in our company. This engagement activity consists of 2 main events which are posting "Know Me Cards" in our internal communication channel, and "Meet & Share" a Teams Meeting where we put every new hires who has been joining our company for 3months to share their stories and questions regarding their experience working with us. From Meet & Share we also equip new hires with tips and tricks to be more adaptive to our company culture and vision.
